Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups cooked short grain rice (or jasmine rice)
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp vegetable oil
- ½ tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Optional: sesame seeds
- Optional: green onion
- Optional: kimchi
- Optional: avocado
- Optional: sautéed vegetables
Instructions
- Mix hot cooked rice with butter in a large bowl until well combined.
- In a non-stick pan over medium heat, add vegetable oil and fry the egg sunny side up.
- Place the fried egg on top of the buttered rice.
- Garnish with sesame seeds, drizzle with sesame oil and soy sauce.
- Break up the egg and mix everything together before serving.
