- 1 15.25 ounce box Yellow cake mix or Spice Cake Mix
- 1 cup apple cider
- ½ cup apple sauce
- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon (for topping)
- ¼ cup sugar (for topping)
- ¼ cup melted butter (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, apple cider, applesauce, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
- Add cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla; blend well.
- Pour batter into a greased bundt pan and bake for 40-45 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow cooling for about 20 minutes before removing from the pan.
- Brush the cooled cake with melted butter and coat with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
