  • 1012 mint leaves (plus extra for garnish)
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 cup apple juice (or apple-flavored soda)
  • 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Ice cubes (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Brew the Tea: In a medium-sized saucepan, combine water, tea leaves, mint leaves, and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to low and simmer for one minute.
  2. Strain and Cool: Remove from heat and strain the brewed tea into a measuring cup or pitcher. Let it cool for about 10 minutes.
  3. Assemble: Fill two tall glasses with ice cubes and add 4-5 mint leaves to each glass. Pour in ½ cup of apple juice (or soda) followed by ½ cup of brewed tea.
