Ingredients
- 1 pie pastry
- 5 1/2 cups peeled and thinly sliced apples
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup caramel ice cream sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Place pastry in a 9" deep dish pie pan.
- In a bowl, mix sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt; add apples and coat well. Pour into crust.
- In another bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, oats, and softened butter until crumbly; sprinkle over apples.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes uncovered; cover with foil and bake another 20 minutes or until apples are tender.
- Drizzle warm caramel sauce before serving.
