Ingredients
- ½ cup softened butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 3 medium ripe bananas
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ cup softened cream cheese
- 2 ¼ cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan.
- In a stand mixer, cream together the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Mash the ripe bananas and stir them in along with vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cooling completely before frosting with cream cheese mixture made by blending butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
