  • 2 ¼ cups mashed bananas (about 4 ripe bananas)
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1½ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup cooking oil or melted butter
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 10-inch Bundt pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, combine eggs, mashed bananas, sugar, and oil/butter until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients; stir until just combined (lumps are okay).
  5. Fold in nuts if using, then pour batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
  6. Bake for 55–60 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
