Ingredients
- 320 g ready rolled puff pastry
- 400 g beef sausages
- 100 g apple sauce
- 20 g dried apples
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- 1 beaten egg (for topping)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 190°C (fan) or 210°C (non-fan). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the sausage meat (remove casings), apple sauce, dried apples, thyme, and sea salt until well mixed.
- Cut the puff pastry into two long strips and divide the filling between them.
- Roll each strip tightly, sealing with beaten egg on one edge.
- Cut the rolls into desired lengths and brush with more egg wash. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
