Ingredients
- 600 g fresh strawberries
- 150 g milk chocolate
- 200 g sweetened pistachio cream
- 100 g kataifi (shredded filo pastry)
- 30 g unsalted butter
- Slivered pistachios for topping
Instructions
- Wash and hull the strawberries. Slice each strawberry in half and pat dry.
- Cut the kataifi into short strands. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and toast the kataifi until golden brown.
- Mix the warm toasted kataifi with sweetened pistachio cream until evenly coated.
- Melt the chopped chocolate using a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
- In serving cups, layer halved strawberries at the bottom, followed by the pistachio kataifi mixture and a drizzle of melted chocolate. Repeat layers as desired.
- Garnish with slivered pistachios and serve immediately or chill briefly for a refreshing treat.
