  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 ounce onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 cup milk
  • For Glaze: 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, crumble the ground beef and add breadcrumbs, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, beaten egg, salt, pepper, and milk. Mix gently until combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together ketchup, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar to make the glaze.
  4. Spread half of the glaze on the bottom of a loaf pan before adding the meat mixture. Shape it into a loaf.
  5. Top with the remaining glaze and bake for about 70 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Let rest for five minutes before slicing and serving.
