Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper for 20–30 minutes.
- Mix flour and cornstarch in a separate bowl; heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture and fry until golden brown (about 3–5 minutes per side). Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Toss fried chicken in melted butter mixed with hot sauce.
- Assemble sandwiches by spreading dressing on toasted buns, adding fried chicken, lettuce, and any additional toppings you desire.
