Instructions
- Thoroughly wash and dry the apples, then insert sticks into their cores.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Heat and stir until sugar dissolves.
- Stop stirring and boil until mixture reaches 300°F.
- Dip each apple into the hot syrup quickly and let excess drip off.
- Place on parchment paper to cool for about 30 minutes before serving.
