Ingredients
- 50 pretzel snaps
- 50 caramel squares
- 3 Granny Smith apples
- ¼ cup finely chopped peanuts
- ⅓ cup semisweet chocolate chips or dark chocolate melting wafers
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Place pretzel snaps on the tray and top each with a caramel square.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until the caramel is softened but not completely melted.
- While baking, core and cube the apples into 1-inch pieces; soak in lemon juice or salt water to prevent browning.
- After removing from the oven, press an apple cube onto each warm caramel-covered pretzel.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe piping bag, then drizzle over the bites.
- Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top before the chocolate sets.
- Allow cooling completely before serving.
