Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water and yeast; let sit until frothy.
- Gradually add flour while mixing to form a soft dough. Knead until smooth on a floured surface.
- Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and roll each into a rope. Place cheese in the center and fold the dough over it.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange pretzels on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with coarse salt.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
