Ingredients
- 13 ounces canned refrigerator pizza dough
- 6–7 mozzarella cheese sticks
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (divided)
- Fresh herbs (parsley, rosemary, basil)
- 1 clove garlic (grated)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the pizza dough into approximately 30 equal squares and each mozzarella stick into bite-sized pieces.
- Place one piece of mozzarella in each dough square and roll into balls.
- Arrange the balls on the baking sheet in a tree shape, seam-side down.
- Brush each ball with a mixture of beaten egg and water.
- Bake for 16-18 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare herby garlic butter by combining melted butter, half of the parmesan cheese, garlic, and fresh herbs; brush over baked bread and sprinkle with remaining parmesan.
