Ingredients
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g natural cocoa powder
- 115 g unsalted butter (softened)
- 100 g brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 24 Hershey's kisses (unwrapped)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 30 g granulated sugar
- 30 g sprinkles
- 30 g powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl; set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Scoop dough into balls and roll in granulated sugar, sprinkles, or powdered sugar as desired.
- Place on the lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 7-8 minutes; immediately press a Hershey's kiss into the center after removing from the oven.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
