  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot coffee (or boiling water)
  • 6 ounces chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1½ cups unsalted butter
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 6 cups powdered sugar
  • ⅔ cup milk (add more if needed)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 26 Oreo cookies, crushed into crumbs
  • 10 ounces pectin-based gummy candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking pan.
  2. In a stand mixer, combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt on low speed.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract; gradually add to dry ingredients while mixing.
  4. Slowly stir in hot coffee until well combined. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 30–35 minutes.
  5. Cool completely before spreading chocolate pudding over the cake.
  6. For the frosting, melt butter and whisk in cocoa; mix with powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  7. Spread frosting over the pudding layer and top with crushed Oreo cookies.
