Ingredients
- 1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 can (14 oz) cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup water (for the sauce)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Red and green sprinkles for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix on medium speed until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool slightly before poking holes all over the top with a toothpick.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberry sauce, water, and sugar; stir until smooth.
- Pour the warm cranberry mixture over the poked cake to soak in.
- Once cooled completely, spread whipped topping over the cake and decorate with sprinkles.
