Ingredients
- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups (281g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for dark cinnamon swirl)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for dark cinnamon swirl)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- Gently fold in flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon until no streaks of flour remain.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. In a small bowl, mix together additional granulated sugar and cinnamon for the swirl, then sprinkle over the batter. Use a knife to gently swirl it in.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until edges are set; a toothpick should come out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow blondies to cool completely before slicing into squares.
