  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings (24 deviled egg halves) 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large eggs
  • ¼ cup creamy salad dressing (like Miracle Whip)
  • ¼ teaspoon dry mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Hot sauce (to taste)
  • 4 drops red food coloring
  • 4 drops blue food coloring
  • 4 drops green food coloring
  • 3 cups water (divided, or as needed)

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs by placing them in a saucepan covered with cold water. Bring to a boil, then cover and let sit in hot water for 20 minutes. Cool under running water before peeling.
  2. Cut each egg in half lengthwise and transfer yolks to a mixing bowl. Mash with a fork and mix in creamy salad dressing, dry mustard, salt, pepper, and hot sauce until smooth.
  3. In three small bowls, combine 1 cup of water with drops of food coloring (red, blue, green). Soak the egg whites in the colored waters for about 15 minutes until vibrant.
  4. Use a spoon or piping bag to fill the colored egg whites generously with the yolk mixture. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
