Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 12 oz linguine
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley and chives for garnish
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- ½ cup reserved pasta water
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for serving)
Instructions
- Cook linguine according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Add broccoli during the last three minutes of cooking. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
- Season steak cubes with smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak until browned (about 2–3 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, then add parsley and chives; season to taste.
- Combine cooked linguine and broccoli with the butter sauce in the skillet, adding reserved pasta water as needed for creaminess. Return steak to the skillet and mix until well-coated.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley and Parmesan cheese.
