  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 4

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 12 oz linguine
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley and chives for garnish
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • ½ cup reserved pasta water
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Add broccoli during the last three minutes of cooking. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Season steak cubes with smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak until browned (about 2–3 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, then add parsley and chives; season to taste.
  4. Combine cooked linguine and broccoli with the butter sauce in the skillet, adding reserved pasta water as needed for creaminess. Return steak to the skillet and mix until well-coated.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley and Parmesan cheese.
