- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup light brown sugar (lightly packed)
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
- 2 (12 ounce) fresh cranberries
- 1 cup pecans (chopped)
- Zest from 2 oranges (plus juice from one of the oranges)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cranberries with granulated sugar, orange zest, and juice; stir until coated.
- In another bowl, mix flour, light brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly; then stir in chopped pecans.
- Spread cranberry mixture in a baking dish and top with the crumbly mixture.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
