Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into 1” pieces
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
- ½ medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ⅔ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup full-fat sour cream
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Flour, for dredging
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, or more to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and dredge lightly in flour.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sear chicken until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté mushrooms and onions until golden brown.
- Add minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce; cook for about a minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and mix well; return seared chicken to the skillet and let simmer for about 2 minutes.
- Stir in sour cream gently and adjust seasoning as necessary before serving.
