- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Spray a baking dish with nonstick spray or drizzle with olive oil.
- In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking dish and bake for 15 minutes until tender and slightly crisp.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle cheese over the top, and return to bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving directly from the baking dish.
