  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • ½ cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Large Egg
  • ¼ cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the corn by draining canned corn or thawing and patting dry frozen corn.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg lightly.
  3. Add flour, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bowl with the egg.
  4. Gently fold in the prepared corn until evenly mixed.
  5. Shape the mixture into small balls or discs.
  6. For frying: heat oil to 350–375°F (175–190°C) in a frying pan and cook bites until golden brown (about 2–3 minutes per side). For baking: preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
