  • 3 to 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cans unsalted cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits

Instructions

  1. Spray a 6-quart slow cooker with nonstick spray. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, onion powder, garlic powder, melted butter, and chicken broth. Pour over the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 hours.
  4. Shred the cooked chicken with forks and return to the slow cooker.
  5. Cut biscuits into eighths and sprinkle over the top of the mixture.
  6. Cover again and cook on HIGH for about 1 hour until dumplings are cooked through.
