Ingredients
- 1.5 – 2 lbs fresh green beans (trimmed and cut into 2 – 3" pieces)
- 1.5 lbs small potatoes (halved)
- 1 large onion (diced)
- 1 lb turkey sausage (sliced into rounds)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Layer halved potatoes in the slow cooker; season with pepper and half of the Cajun seasoning.
- Place the stick of butter on top of the potatoes.
- Add green beans and diced onion; sprinkle remaining Cajun seasoning.
- Top with sliced turkey sausage.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 6 hours, stirring gently once an hour.
- Taste before serving; adjust seasonings as desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
