- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 packet French onion soup mix
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them in the crockpot.
- In another bowl, whisk together beef broth and French onion soup mix; pour over the meatballs.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. In the last 15 minutes of cooking, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top to melt.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
