Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 12 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp sea salt flakes
  • 1 cup toasted almond slivers
  • 1/2 cup crushed pretzels

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of an 8×8-inch pan and chill for 10 minutes.
  2. Make the ganache by melting dark chocolate with heavy cream and butter in a heat-proof bowl over simmering water. Stir in vanilla and salt; let cool slightly.
  3. For the caramel sauce, melt granulated sugar until amber-colored in a saucepan. Whisk in butter and heavy cream; add sea salt flakes.
  4. Toast almond slivers in a skillet for crunch topping; combine with crushed pretzels and toffee bits.
  5. Assemble by layering ganache over chilled crust, followed by warm caramel sauce and then sprinkle with crunch topping. Chill for at least one hour before cutting into bars.
