Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup Easter mini eggs (Cadbury or Lindt)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and sugar for about three minutes until fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- Fold in the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt until just combined. Gently fold in the milk chocolate chips and mini eggs.
- Press the dough into the prepared pan and bake for 18-22 minutes until lightly golden around the edges.
- Let cool briefly before cutting into squares.
