- 1 box French vanilla cake mix

- 1/2 cup unsalted sweet cream butter
- 3 cups Easter sprinkles
- For frosting: 1/2 cup unsalted sweet cream butter, softened
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- pink gel food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- In a standing mixer, combine cake mix, egg, and butter until a soft dough forms. Mix in 1 cup of sprinkles.
- Scoop dough into balls, roll in remaining sprinkles, and place on cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden; allow to cool completely.
- Prepare frosting by beating together softened butter, powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream, and pink gel food coloring until creamy.
- Assemble whoopie pies by piping frosting onto one cookie half and sandwiching with another.
