- ⅓ cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice for glaze
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest for glaze
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In one bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, use an electric mixer to cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until just combined.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a rubber spatula.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While baking, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with fresh lemon juice and zest until smooth.
- Allow brownies to cool completely before drizzling with glaze. Cut into squares and enjoy!
