Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups traditional rolled oats
- 1/2 cup natural honey
- 1/3 cup smooth peanut butter
- 3/4 cup dark chocolate pieces
- 2 teaspoons coconut oil
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, honey, peanut butter, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly using a rubber spatula until well combined.
- Press the mixture evenly into an 8×8 inch baking dish and refrigerate while preparing the topping.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, heat dark chocolate pieces and coconut oil in short intervals (20 seconds), stirring until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the refrigerated oat base, spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle sea salt on top and return to the refrigerator for at least one hour to set.
- Cut into squares or bars once firm and enjoy!
