Ingredients
- 370 g raspberries (fresh or frozen)
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine raspberries, sugar, lemon juice, and salt. Cook over medium-low heat while stirring until the raspberries begin to release their juices.
- Allow the mixture to simmer for about 8 minutes, stirring regularly until it thickens slightly and all berries break down.
- Remove from heat and strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl, using a spatula to push the pulp through while discarding the seeds.
- Let the coulis cool to room temperature before transferring it to an airtight container.
