Ingredients
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
- Juice and zest of 2 large lemons
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons dried basil
- 1–1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1–1/2 tablespoons dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
- Steaks of your choice
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, dried basil, garlic powder, dried parsley, dried oregano, and ground white pepper until well combined.
- Pour the marinade over your steaks in a shallow dish or sealable bag to ensure even coating. Cover or seal and refrigerate for up to 6 hours.
- Preheat your grill to high heat about 20 minutes before grilling. Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature while the grill heats.
- Oil the grill grates with a paper towel soaked in canola oil to prevent sticking.
- Grill the steaks for about 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare (targeting an internal temperature of 135°F). Let rest covered with foil for 5–10 minutes before serving.
