- Pink food coloring
- Blue food coloring
- 1/4 cup sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition; then blend in cotton candy extract and vanilla extract.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; then mix in milk to form a soft dough.
- Divide dough into two bowls and color one pink and the other blue.
- Gently swirl portions of each color together to create a marbled effect.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for five minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
