- 10–12 baguette slices (about ½” thick)
- 6 tbsp olive oil, divided
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 avocado
- Juice of ½ lime
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 big garlic cloves, cut into slivers
- ¾ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the baguette into 10-12 pieces (½ inch thick) and arrange on the baking sheet.
- Mix 3 tablespoons olive oil with garlic powder; brush onto both sides of baguette slices.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
- In a bowl, mash avocado with lime juice, salt, and pepper until smooth but slightly chunky.
- Heat remaining olive oil in a skillet; add garlic slivers for 2 minutes.
- Add shrimp and spices, cooking until pink and opaque (3-5 minutes).
- Spread avocado mixture on crostini and top each with a shrimp.
