  • 1 crusty white roll
  • 1 egg

  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 500 milliliters beef broth
  • 200 milliliters heavy cream
  • Cornstarch (to thicken the sauce)
  • Salt, pepper, paprika powder (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Soak the crusty roll in water.
  2. Rinse and prepare cabbage leaves by removing 8 intact ones.
  3. Boil the leaves for about 2 minutes until softened.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, diced onion, soaked roll, egg, and seasonings.
  5. Roll the mixture in cabbage leaves and secure with twine.
  6. Sauté rolls in olive oil until browned.
  7. Add broth to simmer for about 30 minutes.
  8. Whisk heavy cream with cornstarch for sauce thickness; season to taste before serving.
