Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft (about 5 minutes), then add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Crumble in the ground turkey and cook for 7 to 10 minutes until golden brown. Stir in cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add diced potatoes to the skillet, cover, and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until potatoes are tender.
- Stir in frozen peas and cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired and serve warm.
