Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix rolled oats, almond flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together honey (or maple syrup), almond butter, applesauce, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until well mixed. Fold in dark chocolate chips and any optional add-ins like dried fruit or chopped nuts.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow cooling before cutting into squares.
