Ingredients
- 75g kataifi (chopped)
- 40g plant-based butter
- 140g pistachio paste
- 600g fresh strawberries
- 300g Nutella (or dairy-free chocolate spread)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). In a mixing bowl, combine chopped kataifi with melted butter until evenly coated. Spread on a baking sheet and toast for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix the toasted kataifi with pistachio paste and add a pinch of sea salt.
- Wash, hull, and cut strawberries into halves or quarters; pat dry.
- Melt Nutella in a microwave-safe bowl in short bursts until smooth.
- Layer dessert cups with strawberries at the bottom, followed by the kataifi-pistachio mixture, then melted Nutella. Repeat until full.
- Garnish each cup with an extra strawberry and reserved kataifi; chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
