  • 3/4 cup salted butter, cubed & cold
  • 1 cup cold buttermilk
  • 1 and 1/4 cups cold heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prep the strawberries by combining them with sugar in a bowl and refrigerating.
  2. For the biscuits, whisk together dry ingredients in a large bowl. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  3. Gradually add buttermilk to form a dough, then shape and cut into biscuits.
  4. Chill the biscuits before baking them on a lined baking sheet at 400°F for about 20-24 minutes until golden.
  5. Whip chilled heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
