  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 23 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt or loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Alternately add the dry mixture and milk to the butter mixture until just combined.
  5. Prepare the cinnamon swirl by mixing brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter in a small bowl.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan; top with half of the cinnamon swirl mixture. Then pour in the remaining batter followed by the rest of the swirl mixture. Gently swirl with a knife for marbling.
  7. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, honey, milk, and vanilla until smooth; drizzle over the warm cake.
