Instructions
- In a bowl, combine rolled oats with warm milk and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Dissolve yeast in warm water and add honey; let it bubble for about 5-10 minutes.
- Mix softened oats, melted butter, and remaining honey into the yeast mixture.
- Gradually stir in all-purpose flour, cinnamon, and salt until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth.
- Place in an oiled bowl to rise for 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.
- Shape the dough into a log and place it in a greased loaf pan to rise again for 30-40 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
