- 1 lb fresh or frozen calamari
- 4 tbsp rich and creamy butter
- 3 cloves fresh minced garlic
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Prepare the calamari by cleaning it thoroughly. If using whole calamari, remove the head, tentacles, and innards, then slice the body into rings and pat them dry.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant but not browned.
- Add the calamari rings to the skillet and gently toss in the garlic butter. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn opaque and tender.
- Remove from heat and drizzle fresh lemon juice over the calamari. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika, then toss gently to combine.
