- ½ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ⅓ cup dutch processed cocoa powder
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a stand mixer or large bowl, beat together room temperature unsalted butter, white sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add one large egg and egg yolk, along with vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix on low speed until just combined.
- Fold in white chocolate chips and chill the dough in the refrigerator for 45–60 minutes.
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10–11 minutes until the edges are set but centers remain soft.
