Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth but slightly chunky.
- In another bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually incorporate into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips evenly.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
