- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions
- Thaw shrimp if frozen; rinse under cold water and pat dry.
- In a large skillet, bring about an inch of water to boil, then steam broccoli for 3 minutes until bright green. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
- Drizzle honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice into the pan; stir to coat shrimp evenly. If desired, add red pepper flakes for heat.
- Fold in steamed broccoli and let everything simmer together for another minute.
- Serve warm with extra sauce drizzled on top.
