- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Mix in the melted butter, followed by vanilla extract and beaten egg until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together baking soda, salt, and flour. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Gently mix in sugar according to your preference and fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for about 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
