- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced thinly)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk and softened butter. Combine this with dry ingredients to form a soft dough; do not overmix.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle about half an inch thick on a floured surface.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar, vanilla extract, and sliced strawberries until smooth. Spread evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Roll up the dough tightly from one long edge and pinch the ends to seal.
- Cut into equal pieces about one inch thick and place in a greased baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
