- 6 chicken quarters
- Kalbi marinade (soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sweetener)
- ½ apple
- 2” ginger
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 2 stalks of green onion
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp pepper
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sweetener, and pepper. Grate ginger and mince garlic; add to the marinade along with finely chopped green onion and diced apple.
- Coat chicken quarters in the marinade; cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Arrange marinated chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for about 25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), flipping halfway through.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving; optionally sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
