  • 6 chicken quarters
  • Kalbi marinade (soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sweetener)
  • ½ apple
  • 2” ginger
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 stalks of green onion
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sweetener, and pepper. Grate ginger and mince garlic; add to the marinade along with finely chopped green onion and diced apple.
  2. Coat chicken quarters in the marinade; cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  4. Arrange marinated chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for about 25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), flipping halfway through.
  5. Let rest for a few minutes before serving; optionally sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
